Lornewood School of Music
Where learning music is fun!
My love for music, children, teaching and the background in music and NLP inspired me nine years ago to open a school where music is fun and teaching music is tailored to age and music preferences of students. I teach piano and music theory.

Our goal is to provide students with high quality music instructions.
All teachers at Lornewood School of Music are professional full time musicians and music instructors.

Olivia Podolak is a very dedicated piano teacher. She has a successful piano practice in Mississauga. And we are very happy to have her join our enthusiastic teaching staff at Lornewood School of Music.
Olivia Podolak is a young teacher with an impressive background in piano. Ever since the age of 6, she has competed at local, provincial and national competitions with great success and had completed her Grade Ten examination at the Royal Conservatory of Music with First Class Honours With Distinction. Currently, she is studying at McMaster University where she is completing her B.Sc. in Psychology, Neuroscience and Behavior. She is learning about how music helps in the development of the brain and the benefits of being exposed to the musical world. This understanding of the role of music is applied to Olivia's methods of teaching, and in turn provides an excellent environment for her students to thrive in.
